Exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based at a high-end residential portfolio in Aldgate, London. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work on a static site, carrying out both planned preventative and reactive maintenance across all mechanical and building services systems.
The successful candidate will be mechanically qualified with a strong background in commercial or residential building maintenance and a good understanding of general building services. Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 08:00 am – 17:00 pm
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across all mechanical plant and building services.
- Monitor and maintain pumps, motors, valves, and associated mechanical equipment.
- Carry out plumbing duties including unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers, and minor pipework repairs.
- Maintain and service AHUs and FCUs including filter changes, cleaning, and general maintenance.
- Carry out water treatment tasks including hot & cold temperature monitoring.
- Monitor and operate BMS systems including heating and cooling checks.
- Maintain and update site logbooks and compliance paperwork.
- Carry out general building fabric maintenance when required.
- Diagnose faults across mechanical and building services systems and proactively resolve issues.
- Work closely within a multi-skilled maintenance team to ensure smooth operation of the site.
- Assist with minor project works and provide information for maintenance quotations when required.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and company procedures.
- Maintain a professional and client-facing approach at all times.

- Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum.
