Junior Shift Engineer – Continental Shift – Commercial Building – Kings Cross, London – Β£32,000 Per annum Are you looking for a way into maintenance? Are you looking for a role in Central London? Are you electrically or mechanically qualified? If the answer is yes, then read on…. My client is looking for an Electrical or Mechanical Shift Engineer to be based in a commercial building in Kings Cross, London. A successful candidate will be electrically or mechanically biased (C&G / NVQ). Working with the maintenance team on site, He or she will be required to carry out electrical, and mechanical maintenance. In return, the company offers a competitive salary of Β£32,000, further training and career progression. Package Β£32,000 per annum Uniform and Tools Provided Cycle to work scheme 20 days holiday Overtime Available Pension Internal Progression & DevelopmentHours of work Continental Shift – 4 nights, 4off, 3 days, 3 nights, 6off, 4 days – 07:00am – 19:00pm / 19:00am – 07:00am Key Duties & Responsibilities Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc) Emergency lighting tests & Fire alarm tests Plant room maintenance Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning) Control Panels Changing Ballast BMS System – Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold) Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance Maintain and update Log books Plumbing – Unblocking toilets Pumps, motorsRequirements Electrically qualified – City & Guilds Level 3 or mechanically City & Guilds Level 2 Have a hard-working attitude Willingness to learn Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates A proven track record in commercial building maintenance Good communication skills Client FacingIf you are interested please get in contact with Alex Denton of CBW Staffing solutions
