CBW are currently recruiting for a Head of Business Development to join this expanding business and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the company .
The Head of Business Development will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's growth strategy across Facilities Management and M&E services.
This is a senior leadership role requiring an individual with extensive industry knowledge, an established network of contacts and a proven ability to win profitable contracts.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Directors to expand the company's client base, strengthen existing relationships and enhance the company's market presence.
Hours of work
Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm Based in the office located in SE London with WFH flexibility
Key duties & responsibilities
Develop and implement the company's business development strategy.
Identify and secure new FM and M&E opportunities.
Generate new business through networking, referrals, direct sales and strategic partnerships.
Build a strong pipeline of opportunities across London and the South East.
Attend client meetings, networking events and industry exhibitions.
Develop long-term relationships with key decision makers.
Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through to contract award.
Lead and coordinate PQQs, SQs, ITTs and formal tender submissions.
Work alongside estimating and operational teams to prepare competitive proposals.
Ensure all submissions are completed to a high professional standard.
Present proposals to prospective clients.
Support mergers, acquisitions and strategic partnerships where appropriate.
Lead and mentor the business development team. Set sales targets and monitor performance. Produce regular reports for the Directors. Requirements
Proven business development experience within Facilities Management or M&E.
Proven track record of winning contracts worth £250k to £10m+.
Extensive knowledge of the FM, M&E, Construction marketplace (Essential) Strong commercial awareness.
Excellent negotiation skills.
Experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
Full UK Driving Licence
