Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Client Direct - Residential - Hampstead Heath - £43,000- £53,000

CBW is proud to partner with a direct client who is looking for a talented Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a small, high-performing onsite team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a varied environment where you’ll be responsible for maintaining a range of building services, facilities, and leisure amenities.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Electrical Systems: Lighting installs, fault-finding, lamp replacements, ballasts, control panels, power distribution
  • Mechanical Equipment: Pumps, motors, seals, bearings, basic HVAC
  • HVAC & Plant: AHUs, FCUs, emergency lighting, air conditioning units
  • Monitoring Systems: Chillers (resets), BMS (hot/cold trends), UPS systems Teamwork: Collaborate with a large, supportive onsite engineering team
  • Service Delivery: Ensure smooth building operations and top-tier tenant services
  • IT & Administration: Utilise IT systems to complete maintenance records, reporting, and other site administration tasks

Your Work Pattern

  • Monday – Friday
  • 40 hours per week
  • Rotating Saturday – 1 in every 3 weeks
  • Overtime available as and when required, paid at the daily rate

What We’re Looking For

  • Demonstrable experience working in a building maintenance role or related discipline
  • Minimum Level 2 related qualification
  • Good knowledge of multi-trade maintenance
  • Electrically qualified or competent electrician
  • Knowledge and experience of grounds maintenance and gardening
  • Health & Safety qualification, such as IOSH Managing Safely
  • Experience carrying out statutory testing within the built environment
  • Experience within a leisure environment, ideally with knowledge of swimming pools, saunas, and steam rooms
  • Good IT skills and the ability to complete digital maintenance records and reporting
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a small onsite team
