Site based Painter and Decorator - Gateshead - Global Facilities Management Organisation
CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join their on-site team supporting a large-scale portfolio responsible for maintaining high visual and decorative standards across private rooms and shared spaces. The role offers stability, strong employee benefits and the opportunity to work as part of a supportive facilities team.
This is a full time & site based position, based in Gateshead City Centre with free parking available.
Package
- Competitive annual salary between £30,000 – £32,000 (depending on experience)

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality internal painting and decorating works across residential accommodation
- Prepare surfaces thoroughly (filling, sanding, priming, minor repairs)
- Apply paint finishes to walls, ceilings, woodwork and communal areas
- Carry out planned redecoration programmes and responsive works
- Maintain clean and safe work areas in occupied properties
- Identify and report additional maintenance requirements
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety standards
- Collaborate effectively with on-site facilities colleagues
Requirements
- At least 2 years’ proven experience in professional painting and decorating
- Experience working in a commercial environment
- Strong eye for detail and pride in delivering quality finishes
- Ability to manage workload independently
