Fit Out Supervisor - Client Direct / Property Management - Flagship Building - London (City) - Fixed Term Contract - Up to £67,500 + Bonus/Package Exciting opportunity to work for an establish Property Manager company based in London. As the Fit-out Supervisor you will be a key experienced member of the property engineering team, carrying out duties as part of tenants and landlord fit-out, as directed by the engineering management team. You will coordinate between the tenant’s project team and M&E consultants. You will supervise a wide range of tasks on Landlord plant and equipment including electrical, mechanical, water treatment, domestic systems, cooling towers and HVAC plant. All work must be performed to the highest standard to ensure excellent service continues for tenants and building users. In return the company is offering a fixed term contract until August 2027, Up to £67,500, + Bonus/Package. Hours of work Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:30pm Key duties & Responsibilities Review contractor and tenant RAMS, issue and control permits to work. Review and monitor access into landlord areas and plantrooms. Maintain effective communication with the appointed fit out coordinator and M&E consultants. Attend fit out meetings with the tenants, their contractors and fit out coordinator. Monitor the tenant’s fit-out project, identifying any potential impacts to the base build infrastructure. Undertake and supervise tasks as directed by the engineering management team and provide assistance to fit out coordinator, ensuring all work is carried out to required codes of practices and standards. Verify commissioning and any integrations to base build systems, ensuring systems and O&M are updated. Ensure the CAFM system is updated with sufficient information following any reactive tasks. Carry out fault finding, diagnostics and rectification on HVAC systems, escalating where necessary. Maintain effective communication with the shift and engineering management team including plant status, isolations, ongoing work and standards of housekeeping including risers. Plant areas, workshops, stores and changing areas are kept to the highest standards of housekeeping. Supervision and monitoring of contractors carrying out work and or fit out contractors. Always uphold the integrity of the company and ensure the provision of high levels of customer services are provided. Maintain effective reporting including critical plant status, plant isolations, issues arising, ongoing works, special task requests, and standard of housekeeping. Ensure the accurate and timely completion of logbooks on completion of any related activities. Ensure that specialist contractor service reports are signed off where necessary, that quality of work has been inspected, and faults/recommendations are escalated to the management team. Escalate any defects and incidents immediately to engineering management. Complete any site-specific system training as directed by your line manager. Complete relevant Competent Persons Assessment within relevant discipline, within the agreed timeframe. Ensure any parts required are clearly and accurately stated and any difficulties encountered with engineering activities are reported to the Engineering Management team. Act as an Authorised Person as and when required, in accordance with the Company Safety Rules and Procedures. Operation, diagnostics and fault finding for the following: HVAC plant – Pumps, motors, actuators, air handling units, pipework,fixtures and fittings, Public health systems and equipment – Taps, WHB, TMV’s, water heaters, domestic hot and cold water, drainage systems, Boilers and Heating systems, Water treatment plant incl. cooling towers, Building Management and Energy Management Systems and Electrical systems and equipment. Requirements C&G, Level 3 or similar qualifications in electrical, mechanical or plumbing and heating. IOSH Managing Safely Proficient in the use of CAFM systems to complete reactive work orders Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Analytical mindset, able to interpret data to drive continuous improvement and service efficiency Initiative to suggest and develop new ideas to increase efficiency and cost savings. Ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines Strong communication skills and the ability to deal with staff at all levels Experience of supervising large engineering teams and or fit out teams Able to commit to the FTC (August 2027) Desirable Experience of system modifications and minor installations Project supervision of M&E fit-outs. Awareness of the Tenant and landlord relationship within multi-occupied properties Understanding of energy management systems and energy reduction initiatives PASMA and IPAF qualifications First aid training Authorised Person in Electrical or Mechanical discipline
