Electrical Maintenance Engineer (HVAP) – FM Service Provider – Commercial Building – Colindale, North West London – £50,000
An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a HVAP background to be based in a commercial building near Colindale, North West London. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team on site.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and experience working with HVAP systems. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of £50,000, overtime, further training and a potential route into further career progression.

Hours of work

• Monday to Friday –08:00 am to 17:00 pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
• Emergency lighting tests
• Control Panels
• Changing Ballast
• BMS System – Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
• Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
• Maintain and update Log books

• HV – switching, , Schedules, switchgear, isolating

• Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
• Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
• Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
• Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
• Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
• Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
• Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.
• Escort specialist subcontractors

Requirements

• Electrically qualified – City & Guilds Level 2&3
• City & Guilds – 18th Edition
• Current or previous HVAP ticket
• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• Multi-skilled
• Good communication skills
• Client Facing
