CBW are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Manager to join a well-established organisation in Essex. The successful candidate will work out of the Essex office, however, you must be prepared to attend sites in London.
The Health, Safety, Quality, Environmental & Energy Manager will be responsible for leading and continuously improving the Company's Health, Safety, Quality, Environmental and Energy Management Systems. The role will ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, industry best practices, and accreditation standards while promoting a positive safety culture throughout the organisation. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of £65,000 + £5,000 car allowance.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm
Key duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, maintain and continually improve the Company's Health & Safety Management System.
- Conduct health, safety, environmental and quality inspections and audits across new and existing contracts.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Health & Safety legislation and industry standards.
- Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the organisation.
- Produce Health & Safety reports, statistics and performance dashboards for senior management review.
- Analyse current and historical data relating to accidents, incidents, near misses, and other safety-related metrics.
