Compliance Supervisor - FM Service Provider - Essex / London - Up to £55,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Compliance Supervisor to join an established Facilities Management service provider. The successful candidate will be based out of the client's office in Essex and will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining compliance across a commercial building or portfolio of properties, ensuring that all maintenance activities, contractor works and statutory obligations are carried out in accordance with current legislation, health and safety regulations, company policies and client requirements. The role will focus heavily on the management and review of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), Permit to Work systems, compliance audits, statutory documentation and contractor management, ensuring that all activities are undertaken safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. The Compliance Supervisor will work closely with the Engineering Management Team, site engineers, contractors and client representatives to ensure compliance standards are consistently maintained.

Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Review, assess and approve contractor RAMS prior to works commencing
Ensure all RAMS are site-specific, accurate and appropriate for the activities being undertaken
Identify potential risks and ensure suitable control measures are implemented
Challenge and reject inadequate RAMS, ensuring appropriate amendments are made before authorisation
Monitor contractor activities to ensure works are undertaken in accordance with approved RAMS
Assist with the preparation and review of internal risk assessments and safe systems of work
Oversee the implementation and management of the site's Permit to Work (PTW) system
Ensure permits are correctly completed, authorised, monitored and closed out
Ensure contractors understand and comply with permit conditions and site safety requirements
Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with the Permit to Work procedures
Support the management of statutory and mandatory maintenance compliance across the building or portfolio
