Exciting opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in Westminster. CBW is currently recruiting for a Fabric Engineer, the successful candidate will have an all-around understanding of most fabric duties and a proven track record in painting and decorating and commercial building maintenance.
Working hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:30 (30 min unpaid break)
Up to £22 per hour (umbrella) Immediate start
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Daily duties will be a mixture of decorating, painting student rooms, site redecorations & making good, paired with some general fabric duties.
- Own tools and whites will be required on the first day, one kit of each paint brushes (emulsion/oil) and tools for wallpapering if needs be, after this any tools and painting materials will be provided.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of commercial building maintenance
- An understanding of most building fabric duties
- Prior experience in painting and decorating in a commercial environment
- Good communication skills
- Health & Safety experience
- Basic PC literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, smartphone use)
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service
- Self-motivation with the ability to manage tight time constraints and prioritise workload
