CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an experienced FCU Engineer / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a prestigious commercial site in Bank, London. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of Fan Coil Units, HVAC systems, and associated mechanical plant across the building. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically qualified engineer with a strong background in commercial building services, particularly Fan Coil Units, Air Handling Units, and HVAC maintenance. Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 07:00 - 16:00
- 09:00 - 18:00 (Shift rotation)
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Planned and reactive maintenance of Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
- FCU filter changes, coil cleaning, valve replacements and fault finding
- Maintenance of Air Handling Units (AHUs)
- HVAC plant inspections and performance monitoring
- Pump, motor, seal and bearing maintenance
- Fault diagnosis on heating, cooling and ventilation systems
- Carrying out PPMs in line with site schedules
- Water treatment tasks including temperature monitoring and flushing
- Monitoring and responding to BMS alarms
- Basic plumbing repairs including taps, valves and sanitary ware
- General mechanical building services maintenance
- Liaising with clients and site management teams
- Escorting and overseeing specialist subcontractors
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures
Requirements
- City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent Mechanical qualification (Essential)
- Proven experience maintaining Fan Coil Units within commercial buildings
- Strong HVAC and mechanical building services background
- Experience working on AHUs, pumps, motors and associated plant
- Ability to fault find and carry out reactive repairs independently
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Multi-skilled approach to maintenance
- Must be able to provide copies of trade qualifications
