CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a static Air Conditioning Maintenance Engineer to work in an NHS campus in London. There is a friendly team already in place, ready to share their expertise and help you get fully up to speed with the buildings and systems. The site holds 2 Costa coffee's, break-rooms to make sure you can relax while having lunch, and 3 restaurants to refuel yourself for the day.
In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £45,000, plenty of overtime available, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, further training, and further career progression.
Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday (40 hour week)
- 8am to 5pm
Key duties & responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of air conditioning systems (VRV/VRF, split units, AHUs, FCUs).
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs to ensure systems run efficiently and reliably.
- Perform routine checks, inspections, filter changes, coil cleaning, and system testing.
- Ensure all work meets F-Gas and industry compliance standards.
- Respond to breakdowns quickly and professionally to minimise downtime.
- Keep accurate maintenance records and update job sheets and reports.
- Liaise with clients and colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of service.
- Identify improvement opportunities and recommend upgrades where needed.
Requirements:
- Possess relevant and up-to-date associated F-GAS and NVQ qualifications.
- Comprehensive working experience from an HVAC and Building Services environment.
- A continuous history of employment within the HVAC and Building Services industry.
- Proven knowledge of a wide spectrum of A/C systems and plans.
- Ability to develop and be part of a team.
- Manage their own time, works, and paperwork.
- Capable of building long-term relationships with clients both existing and prospective.
- Positive attitude “can do will do”.
- Flexible in approach to hours and solving problems on site.
