About the Role: CBW Staffing Solutions is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading name in the passive fire protection industry. We’re seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development/Marketing Coordinator to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong marketing background who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to support high-level business development activities. Working closely with the Head of Business Development, you will play a key role in driving new business opportunities, building client relationships, and coordinating events and marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Business Development in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns and client engagement strategies
- Design and produce marketing materials using Canva or similar platforms
- Plan, coordinate, and attend events, conferences, and networking opportunities
- Represent the company at industry events – travel and occasional overnight stays required
- Maintain and update CRM systems, track leads, and support business reporting
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and promotional content
- Engage with potential and existing clients to build strong, long-lasting relationships
- Coordinate and follow up on business development initiatives and projects
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in a marketing or business development support role
- Proficient in Canva or other design platforms (desirable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Comfortable with travel and staying away overnight when required
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to develop within the role
- Able to work 5 days a week in the office, with occasional out-of-hours event attendance
