Site based Maintenance Electrician - Bolton - National Facilities Management Organisation: FMCG

CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our client on a permanent basis, who are a leading provider in facilities management solutions, delivering top-tier services across FMCG/commercial industries.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance within commercial settings, as they will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety. This is a site based opportunity, located in Bolton.

Package

  • Competitive salary up to £41,000 per annum (depending on experience)
  • Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
  • Participation in an ‘out of hours’ on call rota (to be confirmed)
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues promptly
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimise downtime and ensure the longevity of electrical equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions to restore functionality
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical components, such as wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate repairs and upgrades
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environment

Qualifications

  • Qualified to at least City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician or similar role within the facilities management industry
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations
  • Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
