An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based in Canary Wharf, London has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with HV or LV AP experience based in a commercial building in Canary Wharf, London. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across this commercial building. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £50,000, overtime, further training and a potential route into further career progression.
Package & working hours
- A basic salary of up to £50,000
- Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 17:00
- 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
- 1 in 7 call out

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
- Emergency lighting tests
- Control Panels
- Changing Ballast
- BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
- Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
- Maintain and update Log books
- Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
- Pumps, motors
- Compliance and logbooks
- Chillers and pressurisation units
- Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
- Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
- Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
- Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
- Report service affecting issues to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
- Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
- Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.

Requirements
- Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2 & 3
- City & Guilds - 18th Edition
- Previous or expired HVAP or LVAP
- Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled
- Good communication skills
