Fantastic opportunity to work for a privately owned FM Service Provider situated in North West London. CBW are currently recruiting for a Fabric Supervisor to be based on an Iconic & Landmark building in North West London. You will be required to have a proactive, customer focused attitude. The role holder will complete a range of activities including:

  • Direct line management of a team of 4 Fabric Technicians
  • Inspection and quoting of small works
  • Planning and coordinating repairs
  • Supporting the team with painting and decorating, carpentry, building inspections

Hours of work: Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm. Flexible approach to working weekends or weekday evenings based on the demands of the site. Parking on site.

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Compilation and submission of extra work quotations to the customer
  • Adherence to set standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements
  • Ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and maintain accurate records/documentation associated with aspects of the completed works
  • Early diagnosis of fabric or plant problems/failures that may impact on the client’s business and impact safety
  • Coordinate and undertake planned tasks in accordance with set schedules, ensuring standards are maintained to maximise the appearance and operational effectiveness of the building and associated systems
  • Include a range of fabric maintenance activities such as painting and decorating, carpentry, building and stadium inspections
  • Carry out hands-on fabric duties alongside the team as and when required

Requirements:

  • NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 – Fabric discipline (building, carpentry, decorating, etc)
  • Supervisory or management experience
  • Experienced in the aspects of general building
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules
  • Ability to multitask and work within a fast-paced environment
  • Desirable - Competent working knowledge of water systems and Legionella Awareness
