Fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FM service provider situated in London. CBW is currently recruiting a Technical Maintenance Supervisor to work on a prestigious contract in London. In this role, you will oversee the delivery of high-standard building services within a commercial, occupied environment, ensuring both planned and reactive work is delivered efficiently and to the highest level of customer satisfaction. This is an off the tools position, focusing on supervision, compliance, and contract support rather than hands-on maintenance.

You will support the Contract Manager in the day-to-day running of the contract, managing a team of engineers, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring full compliance with statutory and health & safety requirements. You will also be responsible for attending client meetings, producing reports, monitoring KPIs/SLAs, and maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00am - 17:00pm

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the building maintenance team and specialist subcontractors.
  • Ensure all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works are completed to required standards.
  • Review, approve, and manage RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements).
  • Monitor and update CAFM systems and maintenance records.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation, company policies, and safe systems of work.
  • Produce reports, track KPIs/SLAs, and support contract performance reviews.
  • Liaise with clients, tenants, and internal teams to ensure high levels of service delivery.
  • Identify plant or system defects and manage remedial works through the engineering team or subcontractors (rather than carrying out the work directly).
  • Support the Contract Manager in the overall delivery and continuous improvement of the contract.
  • Provide out-of-hours support for emergency situations where required (on-call).

Qualifications:

  • City & Guilds (Level 2/3 or equivalent), 18th Edition desirable.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role within FM / building services.
  • Good knowledge of commercial building services (HVAC, Electrical, etc.).
