CBW are looking for a qualified Domestic Electrician to join a well-established electrical contractor delivering high-quality work across Glasgow and the surrounding areas. Whether you're carrying out upgrades, fault finding or full rewires, you'll be part of a supportive team with a steady pipeline of long-term residential projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working in both occupied and vacant residential properties, undertaking a wide range of electrical installation and maintenance work while ensuring every job is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
- Full and partial rewires
- Consumer unit upgrades and replacements
- Diagnosing electrical faults and carrying out repairs
- Installing sockets, switches and lighting circuits
- Completing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
- Testing and inspecting electrical systems
- Producing accurate certification and job documentation
- Providing a professional service to customers at every visit
Person Specification:
- Experienced domestic electrician who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and enjoys solving problems on site.
- Proven experience within domestic electrical installations
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
- Confidence working independently and managing your own workload
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A full UK driving licence
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification
