CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a leading Facilities Management Service Provider for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based at a prestigious commercial office building in Charing Cross, London. The successful candidate will have a mechanical/plumbing bias, holding a relevant NVQ or City & Guilds qualification, and will bring a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
Working as part of a collaborative on-site maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive mechanical, electrical, and fabric maintenance across the building. In return, the client offers a competitive salary of up to £42,000, alongside strong opportunities for further training and career development.
Key Responsibilities- Pumps, motors, seals, and bearings maintenance and repair
- Emergency lighting testing and maintenance
- Air conditioning servicing of Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Fan Coil Units (FCUs), including filter changes and cleaning
- Water treatment temperature monitoring and compliance checks
- Plumbing reactive works including unblocking toilets, replacing taps, and general plumbing repairs
- BMS monitoring and basic operation (hot and cold water systems, LTHW, DHWS, CHW)
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
Package
Salary up to £42,000
22 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Overtime available

Requirements
Mechanical/plumbing qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent)
Proven experience in commercial building maintenance
Strong communication skills
Good organisational and team-working abilities
Previous experience in a healthcare environment is highly desirable
