Site Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Canary Wharf, East London - Up to £48,000 per year

Salary: £48,000

Hours: Monday-Friday split shift:

  • Week 1: 7.00am - 4.00pm
  • Week 2: 9.00am - 6.00pm

About the Role

Our Client is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their on-site team at a prestigious commercial office building in Canary Wharf. You will be responsible for delivering high standards of planned and reactive maintenance to ensure the smooth operation and safety of all electrical systems and building services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks across the site.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently to minimise downtime.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations.
  • Support building services operations including lighting, power, and emergency systems.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider facilities team to maintain a high-quality service environment.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation or Maintenance (essential).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (essential).
  • Proven experience in commercial building maintenance.
  • Good understanding of general HVAC and mechanical systems (desirable).
  • Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive, hands-on approach.
