Site based Maintenance Electrician - Doncaster - National Facilities Management Organisation: FMCG
CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our client on a permanent basis, who are a leading provider in facilities management solutions, delivering top-tier services across FMCG/commercial industries.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance within commercial settings, as they will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
Competitive salary up to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience) ~ Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week) ~ Participation in an out of hours on call rota (to be confirmed) ~ 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays ~ Generous workplace pension scheme ~ Training, development & progression opportunities.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimise downtime and ensure the longevity of electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions to restore functionality.
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical components, such as wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate repairs and upgrades.
Qualifications:
- Qualified to at least City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician or similar role within the facilities management industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults.
- Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations.
