Mobile Fabric Engineer - Commercial Portfolio - Kent - up to £34,000 per annum + Travel time & Package
CBW is currently recruiting for an established Fabric Maintenance Engineer to work across a commercial contract in the Kent area (Dartford, UK Gravesend, UK Kent, UK Maidstone, UK Rochester, UK Sidcup, UK Swanley) for a leading FM Service Provider In return, the company is offering a competitive salary, further training, and career progression.
Hours of work & Package
- Basic Salary of £34,000
- Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm - 40 hour week
- Paid travel time up to £4,000 per annum
- Call out 1 in 6
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Key Responsibilities
- Emergency lighting tests & Fire alarm tests
- Painting & Decorating
- Basic lighting
- Basic Carpentry and plumbing
- Fixing Furniture
- Hanging Pictures & Shelves
- Maintain and update Log books
- Assist the maintenance team on site
- Escort sub-contractors
- To undertake basic “Fabric duties” which would include touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks , making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and putting together small equipment like chairs etc.
Requirements
- Level 1 or 2 in any plumbing or fabric trade
- Sound level of administration and organisational skills
- General Building Maintenance
- Clean UK Drivers lisence
