We are working with a well-established and growing maintenance contractor in Glasgow who are looking to bring an experienced Domestic Electrician on board. This is a full-time, permanent position offering consistent work, great earning potential, and the chance to be part of a supportive, professional team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- You will be working across Glasgow and surrounding areas, carrying out a variety of domestic electrical work in both occupied and void properties, including:
- Full and partial rewires
- Consumer unit (fuse board) upgrades
- Fault finding, diagnostics, and reactive repairs
- Installing sockets, lighting, and switches
- Carrying out EICRs and landlord safety checks
- Ensuring all work meets current regulations
- Completing certification and job reports
To be considered:
- Proven experience as a Domestic Electrician
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Friendly, professional approach with customers
Essential Qualifications:
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable (but not essential):
- 2391 Testing & Inspection
- Experience with EICRs and landlord certification
