Mechanical Improver / Plumber – Commercial Building Tower Hill – Permanent – £34,000 to £36,000

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Property company based in London. CBW are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Improver / Plumber to be based at a large commercial estate located near Tower Hil. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified plumber with a proven track record in commercial/property building maintenance.

He or she will be required to carry out plumbing/basic water treatmentplanned and reactive maintenance across this large static site. Working with the maintenance team on site. He or she will be required to have an understanding/hands-on experience of the below. No knowledge of mechanical systems is required for this position, only plumbing/water treatment knowledge,as my client is looking for someone who they can train to be a fully fledged mechanical engineer.

Package & Hours of Work

• Up to £36,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday 08:00 am to 17:00 pm (40-hour week)
• Overtime available
• 25 days holiday + BH
• Company Pension

Duties and responsibilities

• Repairing Toilets and Sinks
• Unblocking Toilets
• Water Hygiene maintenance and inspections
• Pipework inspections and repairs
• Minor installation works
• Flexible in helping other trades on site
• Planned and reactive works
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
• General building fabric
• Escort specialist subcontractors

Requirements

• Plumbing qualified level 2 minimum
• A proven track record in commercial or property maintenance
• Installation experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Happy to cover a large site
• Honest, hard-working and reliable
