An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in South London. CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Plumber to be based in a commercial building in South London. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive Mechanical / Plumbing maintenance alongside the maintenance team.
Hours of work / contract details:
- Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
- £23p/h, Starting immediately
- Temporary ongoing
- Parking available on site
Requirements:
- City & Guilds / NVQ in Mechanical & Plumbing
- You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- An understanding of the following is essential: L8 Water treatment, Pumps, Air Handling units
- Multi-skilled
- Good communication skills
- Excellent customer skills
Mechanical duties:
- Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing
- AHUs/FCUs filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans
- Pumps PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls)
- Motors PPMs (re-winds, overhauls)
- Water treatment dipslides, pH & temperature testing, chlorination, chemical dosing
- Water pressurization units
- Chlorifiers annual inspection, descaling
- Steam Plant
- Condensers, Condenser Returns
- Cooling towers
- Softeners
- Humidifiers
- Hydraulics
- Pneumatics
- Boilers re-sets
- Chillers re-sets, 1st Line faults
