He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive Mechanical / Plumbing maintenance alongside the maintenance team.
Hours of work / contract details 08:00am - 16:30pm (30 min unpaid lunch) £26p/h (CIS/Umbrella) Starting Monday 21st September 4 month contract Requirements City & Guilds / NVQ NVQ in Mechanical & Plumbing You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential) A proven track record in commercial building maintenance Multi-skilled Good communication skills Excellent customer skills Mechanical duties: Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing Plumbing duties - unblocking toilet, installing urinals & sinks AHUs/FCUs – filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans Pumps – PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls) Motors – PPMs (re-winds, overhauls) Chlorifiers – annual inspection, descaling Steam Plant Condensers, Condenser Returns Cooling towers Softeners Humidifiers Hydraulics Pneumatics Boilers – re-sets Chillers – re-sets, 1st Line faults Please reply with a recent copy of your CV to
