Job Description Shift Engineer – FM Service Provider – Critical Data Centre – Basingstoke – £52,000 CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Shift Engineer to join an established Facilities Management service provider, working at a critical data centre in Basingstoke . The successful candidate will be electrically biased, with strong building maintenance experience and the ability to lead a shift team within a critical environment. Hours of Work: Continental shift pattern – days and nights Days: 07:00 – 17:00 Nights: 19:00 – 07:00 Key Duties & Responsibilities: Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across all building services and client assets. Ensure accurate maintenance records are maintained, including health and safety, building compliance and quality assurance documentation. Supervise subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely and in line with contractual requirements. Prepare, review and follow Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for all planned and reactive works. Lead and manage the shift engineering team, ensuring all tasks are completed to the required standard. Conduct annual performance appraisals for shift engineers. Identify training requirements and support the development of the shift team through appropriate training plans. Package: Salary of £52,000. 22 days' shift holiday. Company pension. Proven experience in building services maintenance. Multi-skilled knowledge across electrical and mechanical systems.
