Are you an experienced Fabric Engineer? Are you able to start immediately? If the answer is yes, then read on..... Exciting opportunity to work for a leading FM service provider situated in Westminster. CBW is currently recruiting for a Fabric Engineer for a temp contract based in a Hotel. He or she will have a proven track record as a Fabric Engineer ideally with experience within Hotels.

Hours of work / contract details:

  • 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday
  • Temporary ongoing
  • Up to £20 per hour (umbrella)

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • General fabric repairs
  • Furniture moves porterage
  • Painting & Decorating
  • Basic lighting
  • Fixing Furniture
  • Hanging Pictures & Shelves
  • Maintain and update Log books
  • Assist the maintenance team on site e.g PPMs, fire alarm tests, tap temp checks, flushing
  • Escort sub-contractors
  • To undertake basic “Fabric duties” which would include touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks, making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and putting together small equipment like chairs etc.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record in Fabric maintenance
  • Hotel work experience advantageous
  • Good communication skills
  • Immediately available or able to start at short notice
