CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for Electrical Maintenance Engineers to join an established building services company based in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. The role is situated within a commercial office environment, where you will be responsible for carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance as part of an experienced maintenance team.

Hours of work:

  • Hours: 07:30am - 16:30pm
  • Monday - Friday
  • Rate: £25 per hour
  • Immediate start required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Small electrical installations, fault-finding, and lighting maintenance
  • Emergency lighting testing
  • Control panel maintenance
  • Replacing ballasts
  • Monitoring the BMS (Building Management System) for heating and cooling systems
  • General M&E and fabric maintenance
  • Logbook updates and compliance reporting
  • Basic plumbing tasks (e.g. unblocking toilets)
  • Maintenance of pumps, motors, and other building systems

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 in Electrical Installations
  • 18th Edition qualification
  • Ability to provide copies of relevant trade certificates
  • Proven experience in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled with a proactive, hands-on approach
  • Strong communication skills and client-facing experience
