We are currently looking for an experienced Domestic Plumber to join a growing and reputable contractor working across Glasgow and surrounding areas. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a mix of installation, maintenance, and upgrade work within residential properties.
As a Domestic Plumber, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of plumbing works in occupied and void residential properties.
Key Responsibilities:- Installation and replacement of domestic plumbing and pipework systems
- Bathroom and kitchen plumbing installations
- Fault finding and carrying out plumbing repairs
- Installation and replacement of taps, toilets, sinks, radiators, and sanitary ware
- Carrying out leak detection, drainage issues, and water pressure investigations
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with current regulations and water byelaws
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service
- Completing relevant job reports and certification where required
- Proven experience working as a domestic plumber
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
- NVQ Level 2 / Level 3 Plumbing or City & Guilds in Plumbing
- Full UK driving licence
- Unvented Hot Water (G3) qualification
- Experience with heating systems and radiator installations
- Water Regulations / Water Byelaws certification
- Salary up to £38,000 DOE + no on call
- Overtime available at enhanced rates
- Company van and fuel card (if applicable)
