CBW Staffing Solutions are looking for an experienced and reliable Handyperson to join our clients on-site facilities team based in Cramlington. You will be responsible for carrying out reactive repairs to the building fabric, plumbing and sanitaryware replacements, and small-scale groundworks such as repointing, levelling paving slabs, and fence repairs. You will also take on minor joinery and decoration work, and help with office or desk moves when needed. In addition, you will be required to support weekend shifts which include full site cleaning duties, ensuring the premises remain safe, tidy, and presentable. Package:
- Competitive salary between £30,000 - £32,000 per annum
- Core hours are 40 hours per week
- Out of hours on call rota (TBC)
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Responsibilities:
- Carry out reactive building fabric repairs
- Perform general plumbing repairs and replace sanitaryware (taps, toilet parts, etc.)
- Complete basic groundworks and landscaping repairs (repointing, paving, fence repairs)
- Undertake minor joinery and decoration works
- Support with office moves and furniture relocations
- Undertake full site cleaning duties during weekend work
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar maintenance or handyperson role
- Strong background in commercial building maintenance
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physically able to meet the demands of the role (lifting, climbing, standing for long periods)
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
