CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join a premium commercial office building in Knightsbridge. This is a client-facing position within a small on-site engineering team, working alongside a Mechanical Engineer to deliver a first-class maintenance service. The successful candidate will be electrically biased, technically competent, and confident managing day-to-day site operations while maintaining strong relationships with the client. The role requires a hands-on supervisor who is comfortable making decisions, managing electronic logbooks and CAFM systems, and communicating effectively with both clients and contractors. This is a challenging but rewarding position with significant client interaction and responsibility.

Hours of Work

Monday – Friday 08:00–17:00

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising day-to-day engineering operations across the site
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
  • Managing electronic logbooks and CAFM systems
  • Issuing and controlling Permits to Work
  • Liaising directly with the client and attending regular meetings
  • Coordinating specialist contractors and monitoring service delivery
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures and site regulations
  • Producing weekly and monthly reports
  • Supporting the Mechanical Engineer and maintaining a collaborative team environment
  • Identifying and escalating technical issues where necessary
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all works are completed to a high standard

Requirements

  • Electrically qualified (City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Ability to make decisions confidently and take ownership of site operations
  • Professional, approachable, and capable of building strong working relationships
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
