Are you looking for a Mobile Commercial Gas Position? Would you like to work for a leading Facilities Maintenance provider? CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a leading National Facilities Service Provider on a mobile basis covering the Somerset region, working on a mixture of commercial contracts including offices, gyms, schools, leisure centres, universities and various others. There is no residential or social housing work, strictly commercial.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial gas and have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance and ideally live in the Somerset region but applications from all local areas are welcome. This position would be ideal for a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer currently in a similar position who is keen on progression.
The company is offering a competitive salary of up to £45,000, depending on experience, with a potential route into further career progression.
Hours of work
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 am to 17:00 pm
Package
- Salary up to £45,000
- Van & Fuel card
- Travel paid after 30 minutes each way

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for delivering, services, repairs and maintenance throughout commercial properties
- Reactive maintenance throughout clients portfolio of properties
- Self-delivery of smaller installations
- Cover a portfolio of contracted buildings repairing and maintaining various systems.
- Have the ability to diagnose and identify faults and failures within the equipment
- Order and fit parts or components to the equipment when required.
- Reactive and planned commercial maintenance
- Providing high level of customer service and building strong relationship
Requirements
- Hold commercial gas tickets (COCN1 or CODNCO1)
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Electrical or Air Conditioning qualifications desirable (17th/18th Edition, Fgas)
- Client facing
- Full driving license
