Mobile Maintenance Engineer FM Service Provider Healthcare Portfolio South West England Up to £40,000
CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established site in Devon / South West area.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for a stable, Monday to Friday role with a healthy work-life balance.

This position is based on a portfolio of healthcare sites primarily in Taunton, Plymouth & Exeter area and occasionally requiring cover in South Wales / Cheltenham / Bristol.

Offering autonomy and responsibility for the day-to-day running and maintenance of building services, the contract is well-maintained and supported by subcontractors where required.

You will play a key role in ensuring all M&E systems are operating efficiently, while maintaining a safe and compliant environment.

  • Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Electrical maintenance including lighting, fault-finding, small installations, lamping, ballast changes, control panels, and power distribution
  • Emergency lighting testing and maintenance
  • Basic HVAC maintenance including AHUs and FCUs (filter changes, basic checks)
  • First-line fault finding on plant equipment
  • Monitoring of mechanical systems including pumps and motors
  • Basic plumbing duties such as minor repairs and unblocking
  • BMS monitoring (temperature checks, alarms, and basic adjustments)
  • Ensure all PPMs and reactive tasks are completed within agreed timeframes
  • Identify and report faults, ensuring timely resolution
  • Maintain health & safety standards at all times
  • Liaise with client and subcontractors when required
  • Escort and manage specialist contractors on site

  • 08:00 17:00
  • 1-hour paid lunch
