Exciting opportunity to work at a commercial campus situated in Whitechapel. CBW are currently recruiting for a Shift Engineer to cover a commercial campus. The successful candidate will be electrically or mechanically qualified (C&G or NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. This is an ongoing permanent role and pays a yearly salary of £52,000 (including shift allowance) + excellent benefits based on qualifications and experience.
He or she will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance to the following:
- Carry out all aspects of M&E maintenance
- Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast's, Control panel, Power distribution)
- Emergency lighting tests
- Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
- Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
- Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
- BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
- Escort / organise sub contractors
- Attend client meetings if required
- Ensure site log books are kept up to date
Hours of work: 4 on 4 off days & nights 07:00 - 19:00, 19:00 - 07:00
Package:
- Salary of £48,000 + £4,000 shift allowance
- 30 days holiday
- 14.5% employer pension contribution

- On call payment + attendance payment if called out
Requirements:
- Electrically or mechanically qualified - City & Guilds Level 3
- Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled
- Good communication skills
