Exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based at a commercial office building in Canary Wharf, London. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an AP Electrical Maintenance Engineer with previous or current HVAP/LVAP experience to work on a static commercial site, carrying out both planned preventative and reactive maintenance across all building services.
The successful candidate will be electrically qualified with a strong background in commercial building maintenance and experience working within a critical or high-profile environment. Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday
08:00 am - 17:00 pm
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and fabric systems
- Electrical maintenance including lighting installations, fault-finding, lamping, ballast changes, control panels, and power distribution
- Emergency lighting testing and maintenance
- Monitor and operate BMS systems, including hot & cold temperature checks
- Carry out maintenance on pumps, motors, chillers, and pressurisation units
- Complete minor plumbing works including unblocking toilets and basic repairs
- Maintain and update compliance records and site logbooks
- Carry out general building fabric maintenance when required
- Diagnose faults across building services equipment and proactively resolve issues
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and company procedures
- Maintain professional communication with client staff and site management
- Escort and supervise specialist subcontractors on site
- Remain flexible and assist with additional maintenance duties within skill set when required
Package:
- Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
- Call-Out: 1 in 7

Requirements:
- Electrically qualified City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 & 318th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Previous or expired HVAP or LVAP certification
- Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled across electrical, mechanical, and general building services
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates
