Exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based at a commercial office building in Canary Wharf, London. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an AP Electrical Maintenance Engineer with previous or current HVAP/LVAP experience to work on a static commercial site, carrying out both planned preventative and reactive maintenance across all building services.

The successful candidate will be electrically qualified with a strong background in commercial building maintenance and experience working within a critical or high-profile environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable FM provider offering excellent overtime, further training, and long-term career progression. Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 08:00 am - 17:00 pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and fabric systems
  • Electrical maintenance including lighting installations, fault-finding, lamping, ballast changes, control panels, and power distribution
  • Emergency lighting testing and maintenance
  • Monitor and operate BMS systems, including hot & cold temperature checks
  • Carry out maintenance on pumps, motors, chillers, and pressurisation units
  • Complete minor plumbing works including unblocking toilets and basic repairs
  • Maintain and update compliance records and site logbooks
  • Carry out general building fabric maintenance when required
  • Diagnose faults across building services equipment and proactively resolve issues
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and company procedures
  • Maintain professional communication with client staff and site management
  • Escort and supervise specialist subcontractors on site
  • Remain flexible and assist with additional maintenance duties within skill set when required

Package:

  • Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
  • Call-Out: 1 in 7

Requirements:

  • Electrically qualified - City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 & 3
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Previous or expired HVAP or LVAP certification
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled across electrical, mechanical, and general building services
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates
