About the Company: We are working in partnership with a well-established and rapidly growing HVAC specialist delivering bespoke air conditioning and ventilation solutions across commercial, retail, and industrial sectors. With a strong pipeline of secured projects and continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager with a strong background in Air Conditioning systems to join their dynamic operations team.
Role Overview: As an HVAC Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and delivery of air conditioning projects ranging from £20k to £1m+. Covering sites across the Midlands, you will manage multiple installations simultaneously, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to budget, while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle, from initial planning to final handover
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to align project objectives
- Coordinate and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain
- Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Conduct site inspections and chair progress meetings
- Prepare and manage RAMS, ensuring all Health & Safety compliance is met
- Provide technical guidance to site engineers and operatives
- Track project milestones, control budgets, and monitor performance
- Regularly update senior management on project status, risks, and KPIs
- Proven experience in HVAC project management, ideally with an air conditioning focus
- Strong technical knowledge of AC systems (VRF/VRV, split systems, chilled water, etc.)
- Demonstrable track record of managing projects valued between £20k£1m+
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Familiar with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices
- F-Gas certification or strong working knowledge of F-Gas compliance
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification
- HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
- IOSH or NEBOSH Health & Safety certification
- Competitive base salary: £45,000 £50,000 (DOE)
