Job Description

Air Conditioning Engineer – Glasgow/Edinburgh – Up to £45,000 + 36 Hour Week
Tired of long hours, constant call-outs and burnout?
This is a role built around engineers, not squeezing every hour out of them.
CBW are recruiting an Air Conditioning Engineer for a forward-thinking, specialist contractor working directly with end-user clients across Scotlands Central Belt. Youll be supported by a strong back office, sensible workloads, and systems designed to let you do your job properly.
Salary & Benefits That Actually Matter:

  • Salary up to £45,000 DOE
  • Guaranteed extra earnings approx. £600/year from call-out
  • 36-hour working week (not 40+)
  • On-call only every 6 weeks (often less)
  • Call-out pay: £100 weekend allowance + minimum 4 hours paid
  • Overtime:
    Saturday Time & a half
    Sunday Double time
  • Paid travel time after 20 miles from office
  • Company van (fully equipped)
  • Laptop + phone / mobile allowance
  • 29 days annual leave + 8
