CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer to carry out planned and reactive commercial maintenance on a commercial contract covering sites across London with key sites in Kings Cross, Peckham, Stratford, and Elephant & Castle. The successful candidate will have an understanding of facilities maintenance and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. This position would be ideal for a Mechanical Mobile Engineer currently in a similar position. In return, the company are offering a salary of up to £45,000 with a potential route into further career progression.
Package & Working Hours
- A basic salary of up to £45,000
- Monday- Friday 08:00-17:00
- Tons of Overtime

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor mechanical plant Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
- Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (Filter changes, cleaning)
- Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
- Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc
- Monitor the BMS systems.
- Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc)
- General building fabric
- Escort specialist subcontractors
- Maintain and update Log books
- Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
- Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
- Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
- Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
- Report service affecting issues to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
- Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.
Requirements
- Mechanically qualified level 2 (C&G, NVQ etc)
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled
- Good communication skills
- Client Facing
- Previous experience of performing a Building Services Engineer role
- Must be able to work unsupervised to a high quality
