Mechanical Maintenance Engineer | FM Service Provider | Commercial Building Teddington, South West London | Up to Β£45,000 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading FM service provider based in Teddington, South West London. We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a static, site-based role within a large and prestigious commercial building.
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, holding a City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 qualification, with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
You will be responsible for carrying out mechanically-biased M&E and fabric planned and reactive maintenance as part of a close-knit team of three engineers, working alongside an on-site supervisor. You will be responsible for all landlord services across the building and will be required to demonstrate handsβon knowledge and experience of the following:
Duties
- - HVAC plant and plant room maintenance
- - Air conditioning β air handling units and fan coil units (filter changes and cleaning)
- - Chillers β monitoring and resets
- - Pumps, motors and cooling tower maintenance
- - Lighting β small installations, fault-finding, lamping, ballast changes, control panels and power distribution
- - Emergency lighting testing and certification
- - UPS systems β monitoring and taking readings
- - BMS β monitoring hot and cold systems
- - Plumbing β unblocking toilets, changing taps, seals, etc.
- - General building fabric maintenance
- - Escorting and overseeing sub-contractors
Hours of Work
- - Monday to Friday, 08:00β17:00 (40-hour week)
- - One week in 7, working a 10:00β19:00 shift
- - On-call: 1 in 4 rota
Package
- - Basic salary up to Β£45,000 per annum
- - On-call allowance of an additional Β£5,000 per annum (1 in 4 rota)

Requirements
- - Mechanically / plumbing qualified β C&G / NVQ Level 2 (minimum)
- - Copies of all trade certificates will be required upon application
- - Proven track record in commercial or property maintenance
