Fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FM service provider situated in London. CBW is currently recruiting a Technical Maintenance Supervisor to work on a prestigious contract in London.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 08:00 am – 17:00 pm
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the building maintenance team and specialist subcontractors.
- Ensure all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works are completed to required standards.
- Review, approve, and manage RAMS (Risk Assessment & Method Statements).
- Issue and control Permits to Work, ensuring full compliance with site safety procedures.
- Monitor and update CAFM systems and maintenance records.
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation, company policies, and safe systems of work.
- Produce reports, track KPIs/SLAs, and support contract performance reviews.
- Liaise with clients, tenants, and internal teams to ensure high levels of service delivery.
- Identify plant or system defects and manage remedial works through the engineering team or subcontractors.
- Assist in preparing quotations, scopes of work, and technical recommendations.
- Support the Contract Manager in the overall delivery and continuous improvement of the contract.
- Provide out‑of‑hours support for emergency situations where required (on‑call).
Requirements:
- Electrically qualified. City & Guilds (Level 2/3 or equivalent), 18th Edition desirable.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role within FM / building services.
- Strong understanding of RAMS, permits to work, and compliance processes.
- Experience using CAFM systems and producing reports.
- Good knowledge of commercial building services (HVAC, Electrical, etc.).
- Experience with LV/HV systems (desirable).
