CBW are seeking a skilled and motivated Air Conditioning Engineer to join a well‑established specialist, forward‑thinking Air Conditioning contractor operating across Scotland’s Central Belt. This is a mobile role supporting a diverse portfolio of end‑user clients, delivering high‑quality service, maintenance, and fault resolution on air conditioning systems. You will work directly with end‑user clients across a range of sectors, including:

  • Hospitality
  • Retail
  • Pharmaceutical
  • Commercial environments and specialist facilities

Covering predominantly the Central Belt of Scotland with occasional travel further North.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on air conditioning systems
  • Reactive maintenance and breakdown response
  • Accurate fault finding, diagnostics, and repair
  • Striving for first‑time fix wherever possible
  • Completing work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
  • Maintaining clear communication with clients and internal support teams

Qualifications & Experience (Essential):

  • F‑Gas Category 1 certification
  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience working as a mobile Air Conditioning Engineer
  • Strong PPM and fault‑finding experience across commercial systems
  • Full UK driving licence

Salary & Package:

  • Salary up to ÂŁ45,000 DOE
  • On‑call rota: Approximately every 6 weeks (can be less)
  • Overtime – Saturday: Time and a half, Sunday: Double time
  • Paid travel time starts after 20 miles from the office
  • Company van fully equipped

  • Phone or mobile allowance
  • Strong back‑office and technical support available at all times
  • Systems designed to make the role efficient and well‑supported
  • 29 days annual leave plus 8 bank holiday
