Mobile Senior Air Conditioning Engineer - Yorkshire - National HVAC Contractor: Commercial
Responsibilities
- Maintain, service and troubleshoot a variety of air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRV/VRF systems, and chillers.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, and moving parts, to prolong the lifespan of HVAC equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in air conditioning units, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Conduct inspections and assessments of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate complex repairs and system upgrades.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to promote a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar role within the facilities management industry - minimum of 5 years.
- Hold your F-Gas Cat 1 Regulations certification.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong working knowledge of leading manufacturer systems (Daikin, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, etc.).
- Familiarity with refrigeration principles and equipment.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Package
- Competitive salary between £40,000 - £46,000 per annum (depending on experience).
- Quarterly bonus for achieved objectives based on achievable targets.
- Van & fuel card supplied.
- Working hours between Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.
