CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Multiskilled maintenance engineer to work as the sole engineer at a commercial building in Aldgate, carrying out both planned preventative and reactive maintenance within a busy tenant-facing environment. The successful candidate will be electrically or mechanically qualified with a strong background in commercial building maintenance. Hours of Work
Monday to Friday 08:00 am – 17:00 pm
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and fabric systems
- Electrical maintenance including fault-finding, small installations, control panels, power distribution, lamping, and ballast changes
- Emergency lighting testing and maintenance
- AHU & FCU maintenance including filter changes and cleaning
- Carry out water treatment tasks including hot & cold temperature checks
- General plumbing maintenance and reactive repairs
- Respond to tenant maintenance requests in a professional and timely manner
- Carry out general building fabric repairs and maintenance tasks
- Ensure all compliance records and logbooks are updated correctly
- Diagnose faults across building services equipment and proactively resolve issues
- Maintain a professional and client-facing approach at all times
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and company procedures

Requirements
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 & 3 – Electrical or Mechanical
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Electrical candidates)
- Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled across building services maintenance
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience working within tenant-facing environments
- Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates
