CBW has an opening for a receptionist to join a leading facilities provider on a temporary basis located in Glasgow City Centre within a commercial building. The role is responsible for delivering a corporate professional service on a daily basis.
Hours of Work
This is a temporary role starting on 27th May until 19th June 2026. Mon – Fri 08:30 – 17:00 (8.50hrs)
Key Responsibilities
- Answer telephones politely and courteously and appropriately direct calls.
- Deal with high volumes of incoming and outgoing post, including additional post services such as booking couriers.
- Greet visitors politely and courteously, set up meeting rooms, offer refreshments, and ensure they sign in and out of the building.
- Manage and support the reception area and handle any queries sent through.
- Manage and book meeting rooms and conference calls.
- Order weekly stationery for the office through our purchase order process.
- Act as the first point of contact for any issues within the office and ensure they are dealt with appropriately.
- Ensure any maintenance or health and safety requirements are reported to the appropriate contact when required.
- Daily cleaning and stocking of coffee machines.
Person Specification
- PAYE – £12.71 per hour
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Passionate about providing and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
- Operational knowledge of all front‑of‑house services and know‑how to access these services to meet member requirements.
