Exciting opportunity to work for a family‑run FM service provider situated in London. CBW is currently looking for Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to cover a region of circa 5‑20 commercial buildings in London (Zones 1&2). The successful candidates will be mechanically biased (C&G / NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
We are looking for a Foot Mobile engineer who will attend a number of sites to carry out PPM/Reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical plant, with a particular emphasis on electrical & mechanical maintenance. The successful candidate will be the lead engineer for Wet Systems across the contract.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:- Carry out PPMs & Reactive maintenance on pumps, motors, seals, bearings and compressors
- Wet Systems (Chlorifiers, Actuators, Strainers, Unvented Systems)
- Air Conditioning – Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (filter changes, cleaning)
- Chillers – Re‑set
- BMS System – Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds, etc.)
- Ensure log books are kept up to date
- Escort specialist sub‑contractors
- Assist other engineers and offer technical support
Note: This is an M&E contract, so there will be very little plumbing and fabric work.
Hours of Work:Monday to Friday, 08:00 am to 17:00 pm.
Requirements:- City & Guilds / NVQ in Mechanical Engineering / Heating & Ventilation / Plumbing
- Must provide copies of trade certificates (essential)
- Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Understanding of commercial building maintenance
- Multi‑skilled
- Good communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Happy to work on a “Foot Mobile” basis and attend multiple sites (not a mobile role with a vehicle)
- Up to ÂŁ53,000 (based on experience / qualifications)
