An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based in London Bridge! CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer based in a corporate office in London Bridge, London. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across this commercial building.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £46,000, overtime, further training and a potential route into further career progression.
Package & working hours
- A basic salary of up to £46,000
- Monday to Friday - 08:00 - 17:00 or 07:00 - 16:00
- 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
- Emergency lighting tests
- Control Panels
- Changing Ballast
- BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
- Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
- Maintain and update Log books
- Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
- Pumps, motors
- Compliance and logbooks
- Chillers and pressurisation units
- Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
- Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
- Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
- Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
- Report service affecting issues to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
- Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
- Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.

Requirements
- Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2&3
- City & Guilds - 18th Edition
- Previous approved person experience
- Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
