Are you an experienced Recruitment Consultant looking to step into a mature, fast-paced desk with high earning potential? Do you want a role outside of London? Do you have a background in Trades, FM, Construction, Engineering, Technical or Soft Services / Business Support recruitment?

CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking Principal or Senior Consultants to join our growing team in Dartford. We have warm desks within the Facilities Management, Soft Services and Maintenance sectors on both a temporary and permanent desk, working alongside a high-performing, experienced team. With an established presence in the temporary and permanent markets, this role offers a genuine opportunity to fast-track your career, build your own client base on top of an already high-performing desk.

The Role:

  • As a Principal or Senior Consultant, you’ll manage the full 360 recruitment cycle.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Business Development: Proactively identify and onboard new clients in the FM, Maintenance, and Built Environment sectors
  • Client Management: Build long-term partnerships with decision-makers, understand hiring needs, and provide consultative support
  • Candidate Sourcing: Use your existing network, job boards, LinkedIn, and our CRM to find top talent for technical and non-technical roles
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure candidates have the correct RTW, trade certs, references, and onboarding paperwork in place
  • Job Advertising: Write and promote engaging, targeted job adverts via job boards and social media platforms
  • Negotiation & Offer Management: Present offers, manage expectations, and close deals with professionalism and speed

Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30, No weekends.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in recruitment, ideally within FM, Maintenance, Engineering, Construction, Technical Trades or Soft Services. (3-5 years plus)
  • Commercial mindset with a proven ability to generate and convert leads
  • Degree qualified in any discipline (Preferred but not essential)
  • Strong relationship-building and client development skills
  • Confident communicator, both over the phone and face-to-face
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and target-driven
  • Organised and able to manage your own time and workload effectively
  • Must be able to commute daily to our Dartford office (Crossways Business Park)
