A leading FM Service Provider at Charing Cross, London is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical/plumbing background (NVQ, C&G) to maintain a commercial office building. In this role, you will work with the maintenance team on‑site to carry out mechanical, electrical, and fabric maintenance duties, including:
- Pumps, motors, seals, bearings
- Emergency lighting
- Air conditioning – air handling units/fan coil units (filter changes, cleaning)
- Water treatment (temperature checks)
- Plumbing – unblocking toilets, replacing taps, etc.
- BMS system – monitoring (hot & cold)
- LTHW
- DHWS
- CHW
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 08:00‑17:00
Package:
- Salary up to £42,000
- 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Overtime available
- Company pension
Requirements:
- Mechanically / plumbing qualified (C&G, NVQ, etc.)
- A proven track record in building maintenance
- Good communication skills
- Good leadership & management skills
- Previous experience in healthcare highly desirable
