A leading FM Service Provider at Charing Cross, London is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical/plumbing background (NVQ, C&G) to maintain a commercial office building. In this role, you will work with the maintenance team on‑site to carry out mechanical, electrical, and fabric maintenance duties, including:

  • Pumps, motors, seals, bearings
  • Emergency lighting
  • Air conditioning – air handling units/fan coil units (filter changes, cleaning)
  • Water treatment (temperature checks)
  • Plumbing – unblocking toilets, replacing taps, etc.
  • BMS system – monitoring (hot & cold)
  • LTHW
  • DHWS
  • CHW

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 08:00‑17:00

Package:

  • Salary up to £42,000
  • 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Overtime available
  • Company pension

Requirements:

  • Mechanically / plumbing qualified (C&G, NVQ, etc.)
  • A proven track record in building maintenance
  • Good communication skills
  • Good leadership & management skills
  • Previous experience in healthcare highly desirable
